Chef Juliette is The Classical Companion, a Lyon-born cook and teacher who came up through the brigade of an old French master and now keeps the classical canon alive at her own table. She translates the grand recipes of the French tradition, written for professional brigades with stockpots that never went cold, so they live again in a home kitchen without losing what makes them magnificent.

She teaches the system, not the recipe: master a fond, a roux, an emulsion, and dozens of dishes open at once, with the rescue built in at the exact step where the failure happens. Her philosophy: "One cook, one stove, one evening."
