The pomegranate has traveled further than most fruits to reach your table. Persians cultivated it three thousand years ago, prizing those ruby seeds as symbols of prosperity and good fortune. When you crack open a pomegranate, you're holding something ancient, something that has outlasted empires.
This drink respects that history while acknowledging that Americans want refreshment without pretension. Fresh ginger brings heat that builds slowly at the back of your throat.
